Travel cancellation expenses insurance for chartered yachts

Travel cancellation expenses insurance for chartered yachts cover:

• Cancellation expenses contractually owing to the charter company or another party in case of the cancellation of the trip,

• proven additional costs of return trip arising in case of the interruption of the trip or in case of later return,  

• Additional expenses for booked services that were not made use of (provided they were considered in the sum insured), e. g., and flight, hotel and/or transfer costs

The insurance sum for travel cancellation expenses insurance comes up to the price of the trip (e. g. flights, transfer, charter fee, hotel etc.) multiplied by the premium rate.
 

The premium rate for travel cancellation expenses insurance amounts to 3.15 % of the charter/trip price (€ 3,15 per € 100). Including skipper drop out insurance, the premium rate amounts to 4.6 % of the charter/trip price (€ 4,6 per € 100). The minimum premium is € 35.
 

The maximum insurance sum for a travel cancellation expenses insurance amounts to € 20,000. Higher insurance sums require special request.
